In 1946 a young Italian woman, in order to survive the starving post-war period decided to use Sicilian lemons from her own garden to produce liqueur and support her family. That woman today is Nonna and her dream continues with her grandchildren in a far away land known as Brazil, bringing the same recipe and quality of a totally handmade product.
Every illustration on the label was drawn by hand, inspired by classic Italian design. The project was created for an Italian descendant living in northeastern Brazil — nonna’s recipe crossed the ocean, and the label tells that crossing.
